Addiction is a cyclical problem but we believe that you can break the cycle and regain your life. We offer individual assistance because every person has a different situation. We believe that you can live the life you deserve and change your life for good.
Rehabilitation should not be prescriptive which is why we allow you to continue with your responsibilities and offer an outpatient setting. Similarly, we believe that anyone should be able to afford proper treatment. An expensive stay is not feasible for most people but our 8 – 12 week programme is designed specifically to reduce relapse rates.
We offer a wide range of courses to help as many people as possible. From our day treatment program to our intensive outpatient drug rehab program, we believe that everyone deserves a chance to get their life back in a safe and secure environment, no matter what your personal situation.
Drug rehabilitation needs to be about more than just coming off drugs. It should also be about getting into better habits and learning how to change your lifestyle for the better. This means learning everything from life skills to deactivating cravings and recognising, confronting and handling triggers.
You can live a happy and fulfilled life without drugs and the first step is to get help. That’s why we are here.
Incorporated in 1919, Orem is located on the shore of Utah Lake, at the base of Mount Timpanogos. The town is the fifth largest city in Utah with a population under 100,000 and is home to Utah Valley University. The population has been growing steadily over the last few years and 33,000 students arrive each year to call Orem home while they study.
Orem is a family town and it uses the slogan ‘Family City USA’. There are plenty of parks, leisure centres and libraries as well as 23 public schools including 16 elementary schools making it the perfect environment for raising kids. In fact, Forbes named Orem the 3rd best city in America for raising a family and the 2nd best city for careers with over 4000 business in the area.
Orem is also known as an area for high spiritual well-being. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints make up a sizable proportion of the population. Utah is, of course, the home of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and for a while, Orem was known as Sharon, the same name as the town where Joseph Smith, the founder of the church was born. In 1914, the town was renamed after Walter C. Orem, who was President of the Salt Lake and Utah Railroad.
Unfortunately, like most cities, Orem also has a less palatable side too. There were over 800 drug related crimes and just under 300 alcohol related crimes prosecuted during 2016. While these numbers might seem small in comparison to other cities around the USA, it is clear that there are still some individuals who could benefit from a drug rehabilitation programme. And that is where Pomarri Drug Rehab Centre comes in.
